I have always thought/assumed that up-to-date Slackware would be splendid for
those who picked it up many years ago and are simply most familar with it.
Some people still use Netscape and Windows 98, for example (I am not making
a comparion here). For anybody else, something that's maintained by large
groups (e.g. Opensuse) would probably be a better choice. To each /his/her/
own. That's why choice is so important. Nobody can steer you down a single
route and force you to change.
