If you'll pardon the vernacular, this is starting to look bloody brilliant
to me. One of the main reasons put forward here NOT to go with Linux is
"Linux doesn't do games".
In point of fact, the PC has never really been a good games platform - if
you want games, get a games console (imo).
This now turns it on its head.....
..instead of "Buy a PC, and by the way, you can play games on it...", it now
becomes "Here is a really good games console, and by the way, it doubles as
a really good PC"!
Way to go. For a serious 'puter, use Linux. For games, use a PS3, and get
a very capable computer thrown in:-)
