i hate the way stuff is forced on the end user in the windows world.
especially as it's mainly just too slow. on a hdd that's a couple of
years old stuff gets swapped so rapidly that it's just painful.
introducing things that require more resources is just unfair on the end
user, especially when mandatory.
why can't there be a close resembelance to the deb package, then i can
just install 'lynx' that provides 'network:www-client'. or similar.
windows is just not desktop friendly. worse still, it's not business
desktop ready, unless the business has endless money to keep upgrading
pcs, and then employ someone to keep moving boxes around.
