As they're duel-booting with XP, I wonder how successful this'll be?
Probably, they'll have to wait a few weeks until the XP partition is so
loaded with malware as to be nearly unusable before they try the Ubuntu
one.  One risk there, of course, is that the Ubuntu might by then also
have become vulnerable...

Still, it's an admirable approach to getting people off the proprietary
drug.
