Give the kids some time with the Wii. I'm sure we'll soon see a wiki-based
site that details a method for opening (or taking apart) the $250 Linux
machine from Nintendo. It's cheaper than an XBox and much more powerful.
Also, it pays somebody else's bill. You get what you pay for: a gaming
console. Just install Quake 3 on it and off you go... and it can also surf
the Web and do some fun XGL stuff, provised you can shove in or make use of
the GPU.
