I never used this thing but looking at the picture it looks like it's
trying to recreate a windows app, sort of how openoffice.org and xmms
are. I could be wrong, but that's the impression I get.

My feeling is that even if this works the end product almost never
appeals to me. GNU software works best when it innovates towards a
simple, pared-down, no nonsense solution.
