Many vendors loathe these lists because it puts them in a bad light and urges
them to become Linux-friendly. There was an incident a year ago where
Microsoft forced a Wi-Fi compatibility list to shut down. Even the Web
Archive (Wayback machine) had the corresponding content purged over time.
The conviction was posted in the front page of Slashdot.
