As a gentle warning, it could be baised.

http://toolbar.netcraft.com/site_report?url=http://www.2x.com

I haven't actually read the article though. Be aware that Microsoft gives
financial incentives to Web hosts in order to fight /free/ software. I had
this confirmed when I spoke to a host in alt.www.webmaster earlier this
year. GoDaddy is another case of tweaking Netcraft statistics by tempering
with parked domains, which are of course meaningless. This reminded me of
Microsoft astroturfing that, back in the days, had fake letters sent from
dead people in support of Microsoft (a bit like the Simpsons episode about a
selloff election). I can cite to support this, if needed. Viral marketing
such as this is just a subset from a larger picture (e.g. Munchkins -- or
shills -- in public forums and biased reports from hired consultancies).

Best wishes,

Roy
