These consoles are some moving goalposts. They change prices and specs all
the time and Sony won't let its position slide without a fight. Too much to
lose, plenty top invest, plenty to win. To them, PS3 Linux will remain a
strong point. Limited supplies prevent Terra Soft from stocking and
delivering the units with Linux preinstalled.
How much did the PS2 cost a month ago? Like 75 quid (limited supplies)? Wait
and watch. When Sony loses $5 billion on thr PS3 (that's XBox360's loss so
far, IIRC), then be worried.
