Verily I say unto thee, that Roy Schestowitz spake thusly:

| A bar across the top of the page congratulated me on successful
| validation, but the bulk of the Window was given to an ad for a $159
| upgrade to Vista Home Premium. It's bad enough that Microsoft is
| using what is supposed to be a security update process to try to
| extract more of its customers money. But this particular pitch was
| completely pointless since the system was running Windows Business,
| from which an "upgrade" to the Home version makes no sense.

It's all about the money, isn't it? Money money money money.
User experience? Privacy? Security? Pah! Who needs *that* nonsense, eh?
I just had a post on my site today, from another poor hapless user with
WGA problems, or Windows Geniune Disadvantage issues, as I call them. I
gave him the best advice ... install Linux.
I also carry a feed from the official WGA forums. They're busy ... very
busy.
Trusted Computing is great, isn't it? Until you don't trust it any more,
once you realise that *it* does not trust you, and never has.
