Speaking of that....when the PS/3 first arrived, I noticed that almost
all the kiosks featuring it in stores like EB Games and Game Stop the
product was off. Asking the sales people usually resulted in
statements like "oh, it over heats" or "i dunno". That was near
Christmas.
All of them, of course, had working XBox360 machines in the same
plastic enclosures.
However, recently, having visited a few of those same stores, the PS/
3s were suddenly switched on and working. Amazingly this seems to
have coincided with the recent upswing in sales.
Kind of wonder if various forces were trying to "redirect" people away
from the superior PS/3...
