IIRC, 80% of Oracle's DBs (deployed) run on Linux and they also have many Linux
developers working for them (that number is always increasing). In due time,
they'll get the performance and reliability they strive to have (for less
cost). Ellison attempts to distance himself from Windows, which he calls
a "common carrier". He hates Bill Gates and he understands that on Windows he
hasn't a chance.
