Yes, I've included examples in the OP. The matter of fact is that cheaper
computers -- while definitely in the interest of the market -- aren't in the
interest of most manufacturers (hardware and software alike).
OLPC is a case of disruption. Big players chose to fight it rather than embrace
it and the consumer ought to 'retaliate' with its wallet. Otherwise, nothing
will every change. Learn from the RIAA.
