Well, yeah.  [1] Shut down system.  [2] Remove disk from case.
[3] Insert into hacker's system.  [4] Read.

Somehow, I don't see this as all that specific to FOSS,
though.

A variant that's a little simpler:

[1] Shut down system.  [2] Insert LiveDisc into face.
[3] Reboot.  [4] Read.

Oops, there goes EAL4!  Probably EAL1, 2, and 3 as well.

How well does Vista support encrypted filesystems?
Linux can, no problem (at least, AFAIK; I've not tried to
set one up as there's been no real need here).

Good!  For all that nonsense regarding Judith Miller,
there's hope for the formerly Gray Lady yet. ;-)
