When Jimmy Wales cleaned up his bio (some porn sites affiliation, IIRC) he
got caught and there was a storm in a teacup over this. Of course, more
recently he slammed Microsoft who paid people for edits (who knows how many
times they didn't get caught!). WP has been losing credibility when it
became more popular. Like all great things, SPAM (or anything that's
motivates by money) ruins it. The same rules applies to politics, even model
democracies.

Can't recall who said it, but Web 2.0 is everything that can be spammed.
