Innovation gap between EU and US shrinks

With independence (e.g. Open Sourcs software), the innovation gap will
vanish. It seems as though more countries are determined to drive away the
imperialistic nature of the American IT industry. This means less customer
abuse (e.g. doubling the price of an O/S in Britain).
