Interresting.
What is the proportion of the Windows users that are using a piracy
copy of their operating system?
What is the proportion of the Linux users that are using a piracy copy
of their operating system?
One of the most pirated software groups are games. On what operating
system are the most games sold?
When you have answeared those questions you truthfully, can you still
hold on to your claims?

To claim this and not even have seen the other sides arguments is
indeed bold, I applaud you.
There are several reasons why companys choose not to sell software for
Linux.
1 Linux isn't a big enough market yet.
2 Fear of the unknown.
3 Not enough knowledge about Linux.
The fact is, historically software companys have sold for other
operating systems than Mac and Windows. Amiga OS is an example. Why are
so few companys selling software to Amiga OS today? It isn't big enough
market anymore. However when Linux reaches a certain amount of the
market, companys will come over. Any company not doing it, will loose
in the long run.
Linux programs that work on Windows aswell are alot larger than the
programs that only work on Linux. That is not only due to the fact that
also Windows user use them. It is also to the fact that people using
both Windows and Linux like to use familiar programs. Also for persons
that are using Linux only, tend to use programs that they get
recommended even by Windows users.
Another factor is that a company that has a choice of buying a software
that only exists on Window and buying a similiar software that exists
on Windows/Linux/Mac will in the future buy the latter. Why? Because,
not wanting to force the employees to have a certain operating system
at home may be a good idea. A disgruntled employee is a bad employee.
