Exactly.....
What kind of an idiot would take a nice, functional device which
most likely the best supported device of it's kind on the planet and
hammerlock it buy installing Linux?

What happens if the person needs a warranty or extended warranty repair?
Will Apple accept the device with Linux on it?
I doubt it.

Yea, that's the way I read it.
Can you say "Voided Warranty".

I just asked my daughter if she would like Linux installed on her iPod and
I got a resounding NO! from her......
