The "link" here is to the on-line BIO of the poster. The

What would you call this? (There's also the subsequent post where he
claims this guy is a paid shill but let's keep it simple and just focus
on this.)

The fact is that out of the 2800+ stories there are very few that favor
Microsoft. There are even some that express a negative view on
Microsoft. When pressed further on this Roy then went on to claim that
(paraphrase) - 'Okay, maybe the stories aren't pro-Microsoft. But his
comments are.'

Well, it turns out that his comments also have very little to do with
Microsoft, either for or against. So why did Roy start a thread about
how this guy is a paid shill for Microsoft and how he posts 2800+
stories if this isn't the case?

Remember, this isn't just some comment he made up out of the blue. It's
the subject of a thread that he (Roy) started. The entire foundation
for this thread is based on false information. (ie - This guy is a paid
shill for MSFT who posts thousands of pro-MS stories.)
