Songbird is not production-ready software. Take Google Earth and Picasa as
examples of software that's ready for public consuption. Better yet,
consider deb repositories or RPMs, which bring the applications 'home'
rather than require a manual download and some half-cooked, inconsistent
installer (which may or may not cotnain binaries that can be trusted).
