Ah, but that extra price is because of all the localisation that is
required in Europe, eg in France all the messages have to be in French
(what's the Canadian price again?), in the UK the messages have to be in
/English/ (like Favo/u/rites , Colo/u/r, Network Neighbo/u/rhood, etc)...

And cent/re/.


It's also the shipping costs.

Must be: I mean *ALL* the security that must surround the "Golden Disk" with the EUropean copy on it to prevent it being stolen and copied (dare I say pirated?) Besides, there are obviously more pirates (arrggghhhh, Jim Lad) in Europe and so to recoup all the loses that the high price has caused byu people preferring to pirate as opposed to go legit, it need to be high in price...


No...what am I talking about - that's a load of rubbish - it's the high import duty that the British government (sic) puts on electrical and computer goods from the US...
