Why are you so mean? Some of the kids new to Free Open Source Software
have a lot of enthusiasm and vigor, that will settle and become a force

There was never a 'cloud' over GNU/Linux, about any patents, because
of many reasons, including, but, not limited to:
1. Microsoft is a Linux distributor. even distributing some 10,000 Suse
distro CDs from the official website.
2. Microsoft has no ability to enforce 'patents' which don't exist
3. If Microsoft ever showed a patent,
a. they risk being sued by many smaller companies who either own or hold
that patent, or, are patent cybersquatters who will take a risk to catch
the big gold ring!
b. FOSS Programmers would re-write, overnight, any potentially offending
code, if such could ever have existed.
c. IBM would immediately sue for infringement because their portfolio is
absolutely HUGE!
d. All the other legitimate holders who are small squashed programmers,
would band together in a massive take down lawsuit in an attempt to
'pwn' Microsoft, just to get their royalties.
e. Prior art would demonstrate the futility of trying to even defend
USPTO issued patents!
