They should start by eliminating Mono, which they still ship:

Along with it's tainted dependants, such as Novell's Beagle.
They should also replace Firefox and Thunderbird with Debian's Iceweasel
and Icedove respectively, to avoid Mozilla's draconian trademark
restrictions.
There's probably others too, that's just what I spotted casually.
