That might be true of a responsible ISP, but many just can anyone that gets
a complaint, no investigation.

What the blog does is take it out of the newsgroup, into a forum that
doesn't allow those accused to defend themsevles, and allow others to judge
for themselves. You think that's a good thing? It's a kangaroo court,
where only those that agree with the blog owner are allowed to comment.
