This bit is spectacularly funny:

	"A condition of approval from the corporation's governing claim
	body, the BBC Trust was that "platform neutrality be achieved
	as soon as possible" with reviews every six months.

Which I would say gives Ashley Highfield the opportunity to be stuffed
by Microsoft for as many years as Microsoft say it will take them to
write the Microsoft iPlayer and port it to competing platforms which
they have no intention of supporting.

How did this guy get his job?  Technical competence certainly wasn't a
factor.
