This shows that the market for security software is dwindling,
presumably with fewer computer sales, as well as a steady rise in Linux,
which doesn't have the same legacy of hundreds of thousands of problems
which Windows has. The consequence is that the "security professionals"
are trying to find new ways of making a living - like charging the
vendor for their finds, rather than exposing them. Unfortunately, they
are only 1, singular, step, from charging a 3rd party for the
information instead.
