Second Life uses MySQL. It handles over 2 million souls (players) on over 2,000
Debian servers. There are some very major sites (some of the Web's busiest
hubs) which use MySQL.
Either way, the OP makes no point and MySQL has nothing to do with Linux
either. They just share the same software licence.
