It has actually been shown the Microsoft pays (*ahem* bribes) the
companies/CEOs. I keep record of this, just in case some judge asks why they
signed a patent deals. They also say they don't believe in the validity of
these patents (never even shown what they are). If they deny this, why sign
the deal? Money, of course... but does this give validity? No, it's like
paying someone to say that global warming is a myth and then bragging about
the number of scientists (*cough* shills) that deny the need to cut down
emissions.
