It's like that Microsoft ad with the woman's bra. They think that hard to get
makes it more appealing.

Maybe he was still asleep. Vista nightmares?

Either way, people consistently say that "clean install is the only way to go".
Trust me, I read many Vista articles and I always witness this type of
experience. Given that people just get a new gown, this is utterly
disappointing. Imagine having no ability to upgrade from KDE 3.4 to 3.5.

It's just a beta, Richard, I'm sure it'll be fine when it stablises around SP2.
SP1 will come out some time in 2008, a year after KDE 4 hits the street.
