Not exactly, it was United Linux, which comprised SuSE, TurboLinux, SCO,
and Conectiva (two of which are now members of the Monkey Club, one's
gone bankrupt, and the other was bought by Mandrakesoft).
Obviously GNU/Linux resists "unification". It wants to be Free.
Sun should take note.
