Like you care about the reputation of Linux. Nor are there 'hundreds' of
third-rate distros.

First, anyone foolish enough to install a new OS they aren't familiar with
without backing up their data deserves to lose it. Second, what hardware
was it that Ark failed on? There are so many hardware combos out there.
Third, no one is being punished for anything.

Again, what do you care for the good name of Linux, when you spend all
your time here attacking it and its advocates and calling it 'lienux'?
Particularly when posting here with Outlook Express, under a false nym.

Certainly, there are distros that need to be improved. I'm surprised Ark
was so bad in this instance - when I last tried it, it was excellent, and
worked well on an old laptop that several other distros refused to touch.
