Only insofar as there is no point to /anything/ in particular.
Slackware is still a wonderful distro. It is exactly the right balance
of functionality, stability, predictability, useability and simplicity.
I recommend that everyone tries Slackware at least once. It makes a very
refreshing change, and might change a few opinions about how a typical
Linux distro is supposed to look and behave, especially amongst noobs.
