There's at least one division that uses (studies) Macs. The same goes for
Linux.
About 2 years ago, folks tracked SE queries that came from Redmond and showed
that indeed Microsoft employees use Google. At the time, i ran a script on my
logs and found out some examples. One Microsoft employee even came to my site
looking for information about POVRay, which is FLOSS. He or she was doing this
at work (when an insane Ballmer wasn't looking over the shoulder, surely).
