Pacard Bell, Easynote, with no recovery CD. Which recovers from a hidden
partition. Which continually reboots if you try and boot from the hidden
partition.
Using a Knoppix Live DVD to save Windows XP is like trying to crack a nut with a sledgehammer. It's too considerable a tool for something quite minuscule.
It's usefull for getting the 1.2GB worth of user data off the machine,
before the restore process wipes it. It's not as if its of any
importance. What's more important is to prevent piracy .. :)
