One of the most critical things which has happened as a result of the
[News] postings is that the history of activities is being held up to
scrutiny. A pattern of activity of many years is far more interesting,
and valuable in assessing behaviour, than a one-off.
Surely everyone recalls how Weisgerber would continuously claim that
Microsoft had not acted illegally against Digital and DRDOS? He no
longer does that, because the proof is not only posted, but Roy does a
great job of linking the stories together to form a coherent thread.
Couple what goes on here with such as Groklaw, and we begin to get a
comprehensive picture of the activities of abusive companies in the
IT world.
