Heh.  Romantic theory... contrarian behavior....  You crack me up.
CatB was not about 'justification', it was written to explore the 
already present and undeniable success of the open source development 
process in creating excellent code.  Of course having drank the MS
koolaid, that is completely lost on you.  Faced with something that
just doesn't fit in your worldview, you keep staring at the Giraffe 
and saying 'there aint no such animal'.
