You know how some people know how to sugar-coat bad news?

amicus knows how to coat good news with excrement.

Also note that his approach to a discussion is, for the most part,
negative.  He should be happy that Microsoft is getting some
competition, which only improves their motivation to improve their
products.  Even DFS understands this.  Yet amicus does not.

He dismisses GNU/Linux as any kind of competition for Microsoft, even
while Microsoft writes memos about "the threat of Linux", and even while
Wal-Mart, Asustek, and others are building and selling Linux PCs to
consumers.

It is apparently his hope that readers in the newsgroup will read only
his postings.
