It has been pointed out in various places that Microsoft tactic was to warp and
transform this discussion to One Giant vs. Another Giant, regardless of the
fact that there are heaps of universities, companies, governments, etc, behind
ODF.

Microsoft may have also faked an IBM corruption on D-day. I can get you some
links if you are willing to do some reading. 

Bottom line: Microsoft is scum. I mean it. It's the bottom of the barrel of
ethics.
