It also defies the law. There are very strict rules regarding ITTs in
the EU, which the BBC is required to observe. The iPlayer should have
gone out to tender, clearly it did not, so the law was broken, as far as
I can see.
The EU really should look into this, particularly if HMG and the BBC
Governors are not going to.
