I'm not worried about typing in command lines - I'm thinking of other
people. After nearly 40 years programming I've got used to anything.
But I know many people who just want to click on menus and icons, and
to be honest I prefer that too.

Thanks, I see if my friend wants to do that.
Local Asus support says that there should be an icon but if not, just
remove the thumbdrive. It then complains about the drive that it
thinks is still there, even after a reboot. However, plugging a camera
into the USB slot and turning it on and off again does clear the
problem.
