OpenSolaris 2008.11 pre-release, The year of the laptop?!

OpenSolaris 2008.11 release candidate available

| OpenSolaris 2008.11 available. OpenSolaris 2008.11 is part of "Project
| Indiana" which aims to create working binary releases based on the
| OpenSolaris source code. The announcement notes that the minimum memory
| requirement for the release candidate is 768MB, with the plans to lower that
| to 512MB as the system moves to final release. The minimum memory requirement
| is important, not so much for physical hardware, but for when OpenSolaris is
| being used within a virtual machine.
