There's hardly any of that. Software is becoming a commodity (software services
are not). Microsoft too learned to cope with this when it started giving
Windows and Office for free (or for $3). They are scared and baffled.

The software side no longer forces people to buy high-end $700 PCs. Hardware
makers hate that too.
