DRM is to 'protect' the music... not to protect revenue by renting and expiring
old 'content'...
CCTV is to make you more 'secure'... not just /feel/ more secure while enabling
easier surveillance...
There are many other examples where a technology is marketed using half-truth
of Big Lies and so-called 'side effects' like loss of privacy are described as
secondary despite being principal purpose.
Allowing Microsoft to control filters is far too risky. Here you deal with a
company that _IN ITS SEC FILING_ expresses desire to brainwash kids into IPR
and actually incorporates this into eduction _already_.
Need it be said that Live/MSN search is tweaked to promote Microsoft's business
objectives?
