They are broke because the material is overpriced and sucks.
The entertainment industry is in the sewer and the RIAA refuses to admit
it.
They are not starving at all.
Watch MTV cribs sometime, but be prepared to get ill.

If you want to hear good music, you pretty much have to go to the indies or
visit your local clubs.
That's where the trutly creative music scene is happening.

The major labels are producing mostly garbage.

It's not bribery, it's ignorance on the part of the politicians.
They haven't a clue.
