Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft's (MSFT) quarterly results are generally
expected to have been undercut by growing demand for cheaper computers
with relatively low-cost software.
Thus explaining the hyping of the "96% of netbooks sold with Windows XP [1]"
headlines that Microsoft had to forcefeed onto the Web, and which the trolls
here, including at least one self-vaunted "Linux advocate", glommed onto
like maggots on meat.
