There's still something to be said for good-old vinyl. If it weren't for
the fact that analogue media degrades so easily, IMHO it would be better
overall, certainly in terms of sound quality (primarily bandwidth). They
may not be very portable, but then neither is my ten-tonne Hi-Fi.
I still have my Rega Planar 3 and a vast collection of records. Compared
to my record collection, my little stack of CDs looks rather pathetic.
