Interesting read.
So now the windump retailers are resorting to enforcing
a NO WINDOWS REFUND POLICY.
Ebuyer and Amazon.
You can purchase laptop and windump OS, but you cannot get
refund for the OS. You can only get refund for your laptop and windump OS.
SO YOU HAVE TO DO WITHOUT THE LAPTOP IN ORDER TO DO WITHOUT WINDUMP OS!!!!!
Thats illegal bundling all over again in EU.
And denial of goods and services in a completely
distorted market.
EU regulators need to act like the Russian regulars
and force clear refund policy across the board and legislate.
The consumer protection boards are all asleep in UK.
They would shoot down windump CD pirates (like sending to jail
a family a few days ago) but they won't act to get
refunds to protect the consumer where clear consumer laws are being actively
broken.
The best regulation that should be put in place is to force
OS buyers to PAY AT TIME OF ACTIVATION ONLY and not at any
time beforehand.
So it levels the playing field for other OS vendors.
