Review: CentOS 5.3

,----[ Quote ]
| Overall I'm highly impressed with CentOS 5.3!  I really feel it's an
| improvement over 5.0 and does just enough to reach that tipping point where I
| feel it is both corporate IT ready, as well as newbie friendly.  So pretty
| much anyone can use it if they want.

CentOS 5.3 Live CD Released

,----[ Quote ]
| The CentOS Development Team announced today the immediate availability of
| their CentOS 5.3 Live CD Linux distribution. This version is based on the
| previously released CentOS 5.3 for i386 processor architectures. In order to
| make the ISO fit on a single 700 MB CD, the Emacs, K3B and Scribus
| applications had to be removed. Still, these can easily be installed through
| the "yum install" command, even while running the Live environment.
