What became of choice and responsibility?

Some similar mindsets that allow Microsoft marketing to perform such stunts, 
allow the people that Microsoft uses, to justify their actions.  It would 
help both parties if they could learn from how their actions may alter or 
influence society, from a less myopic understanding than share holder 
profits.
