Win 2000 in and of itself isn't too bad in most cases.
Word is noticeably laggard, though, and you can see some repainting that
normally goes by too fast to see.
Now add to that our /required/ anti-virus software /and/ intrusion-detection
software, and at times it is painful to use, until the code/data at issue
has been vetted.
